Tennessee's Hub for Learning and Teaching

Tennessee’s Hub for Learning and Teaching is a new online tool designed to provide school leaders, educators, and families an extensive collection of high-quality, optional resources to support teaching and learning. Best for All Central will serve as an online hub for best-in-class instructional and professional development materials for the coming academic year and beyond—all designed to be easily accessible, searchable, and free.

PBS Partnership 

PBS Summer of Learning 

Through a continued partnership with the state’s PBS stations, Tennessee students will have access to daily educational content all summer through the Summer Learning Series. All six Tennessee PBS stations currently offer high quality educational programming for grades K-3, weekdays from 10 a.m. –12 p.m. CT. The Summer Learning Series will feature PBS LearningMedia programming that has been specifically chosen for a continued focus on early literacy and math, aligned to Tennessee standards. Each of these programs also have teacher, family, and student resources available online.

PBS Teaching Tennessee Resources: Student Packets and Teacher Lesson Plans 

Teaching Tennessee classroom lessons, created by Tennessee teachers for 1st-8th grade students can be found on the department's YouTube page. All 320 lessons have companion teacher lesson plans and student packets available online, as well as a Guide for Parents Using PBS Lessons.

STE(A)M Resource Hub

The STE(A)M Resource Hub

The STE(A)M Resource Hub includes three weekly challenges around design activities, critical thinking, and career exploration that can all be done in the home. The challenges have been created in partnership with TSIN educators from across the state and encourage students to keep building STE(A)M skills through #MakerMondayTN, #WonderWednesdayTN, and #FutureFridayTN challenges.
